Dosage and Administration
 Valium (Diazepam) dosage is individually determined depending on the conditions treated, the age of a patient and degree of response. While for the most of the patients a daily dosage indicated in the patient information leaflet works well, there are some patients who require higher doses. In this case, it is recommended to consult your doctor and determine the most beneficial dose for you.
You can take Valium (Diazepam) with or without food. It should be taken 2-4 times a day at regular intervals. There are some dose limits for patients with kidney disorders. Taking into account that fact, that Valium (Diazepam) is excreted by the kidney, the dosage for aforementioned patients should be lower than usual.
